Our goal in Balvihar Yoga is to encourage an interest in lifetime health and a stress-free life in our children. In the process we hope to build strong bodies and balanced minds.  The curriculum is designed to include different aspects of yoga. Students will learn between 45 and 50 yoga poses Pranayama, Surya Namaskara, Laughing yoga and  an exposure to the eight limbs of Ashtanga yoga (older kids only)



Teachers will  use a variety of methods such as audio-visual materials, group discussions, student presentations, individual research etc.  We also will have field trip to encourage healthy lifestyle.



Students are assessed on continuous basis to see how they are performing, identify areas of improvement and help them do their best. Furthermore, homework will be given every class to ensure children are retaining what they learn in the class. A day is set aside to show case what the children have learnt during the year.
