Parents' meeting of 2005-06

Parents' meeting was held on 9/25/05 for the school year 2005-6 and there was an overwhelming response from 50 parents, despite the bad weather.

Balvihar President Dr. Sudhir Brahmbhatt outlined the year head plans and major Goals and Objectives.

Balvihar staff presented the Financial updates, reviewed the policies and procedures, presented the overview of the curriculum of the course work and effective use of website for communication.

Parents coordinator outlined the events scheduled for the year and the need for parents volunteers for conducting the events.

Community projects for the year were proposed and urged parents participation.

ASHA organization was given few minutes of time to present to the parents about the “Sponsor a child program” in India. Many parents have showed interest in getting to know more about the program.

It was a very good meeting with parents active participation on the discussion of issues and recommendation.
