Thank you for your interest in Center for Indian Cultural Education, Bal Vihar of St. Louis fundraiser. Due to increased children and youth participation in Bal Vihar school activities and limited current space, Bal Vihar school is expected to be relocated from current elementary school to the newly acquired Hindu Temple land where building construction will start soon. This multimillion dollars project for the temple requires financial support from Bal Vihar. Our future needs and objectives are:

• Expand our class room offerings from 16 to 32 (Every Sunday)
• Summer programs focusing on community volunteering
• Reach more audience from St. Louis region and target goal of 400 students in 5 years
• Partner with other language schools
• Offer more community activities, yoga, and group discussions for the parents

We are in need of collecting at least $250,000 over 2 years. With the generous support of your families and friends we can achieve this goal with following activities:

• Annual Gala Event ($150,000)
• Parent’s donations ($55,000)
• Sponsor Bal Vihar key events ($10,000)
• Donations from Corporations through matching donations ($25,000)
• Corporate Grants ($25,000)

The First Annual Gala event will be held Saturday, April 24, 2010 from 5:00 PM at Lafayette High School, 17050 Clayton Road Wildwood, MO 63011. The annual gala event will be a 2 hour long cultural program followed by dinner. The goal is to raise $150,000 through this annual gala event, and Center for Indian Cultural Education, Bal Vihar of St. Louis needs your help to meet its goal!
